Another Disaster

Though they are rarely mentioned in any discussion of the true greats of Anarcho-Punk, Legion of Parasites were certainly one of the hardest-hitting exponents of the early '80s, as much by virtue of their youth as by their sound. Still at school when they cut Another Disaster, their lyrics and approach have a spoiled brattiness that, in many ways, is even more potent that some of the more accomplished bands of the age: "Protect and Survive — What a Joke." Does the subject really require you to say anything else? The full seven-song Another Disaster opens this set; it is followed by five songs gifted to various compilations during 1983, the six-song Undesirable Guest EP and, finally, the 1985 Prison of Life album, by which time Legion of Parasites' thrilling journey from juvenile shouters to redoubtable Anarcho veterans is complete.
