This album is a collection of various live songs, taken from Let's Go Bowling's 1996-1997 tour. Unlike most other genres, for ska bands the live album is an excellent tactic, as that setting is where the energy of the music reaches its peak, and the sound of this recording is especially for a label the size of Asian Man. But enough about the form; what about the music itself? Though the songs are a cut above most of the band's labelmates at Asian Man, they suffer from one of the worst of the punk clichés: sameness. The only discernable difference between each track may be its length and tempo, but to most ska fans that will come as a relief rather than a detraction. So though the album sounds like one long song, it's not a bad one, making the album a good buy for fans the like-minded Mu330 or Less Than Jake.
