[Edit]Loren Mazzacane Connors is truly a master of minimal guitar compositions; the incredibly sparse and bare touches of guitar that make up Moonyean drift along gorgeously, tending far more toward prettiness than they do desolation. This is the sound that originally defined Connors' work, and with good reason — even as he moved into fuller, fuzzier, and more ambient textures, it was this minimal guitar style that formed the basis and the true interest of his compositions.
