[Edit]This New York avant blues guitarist has released records since the 1970s. He has used the name Guitar Roberts, as well as others. Here he goes by Loren Mazzacane Connors. His fluid and amorphous improvisations are spooky, noisy, acid drones. Connors is also known for his collaborations with New Yorker Alan Licht, Japan's Keiji Hainon and more. Thurston Moore's label Ecstatic produced this sampler to keep his idiosyncratic art from being lost in the contemporary pop noise.
