[Edit]Down-home accordion comes from a charming quartet that, here at least, dumps the cumbia in favor of a quiverful of pasoes, which are just as rural and equally jaunty but a little less gimpy of rhythm. Lisandro "Nonpareil" Meza aside, one must like groups like this, which contrive to stay faithful to the típico sound's plain-man affability, using their undoubted chops to do the job right, rather than flashing things up.
