[Edit]A founding member of Cali's longstanding Living Legends collective, Luckyiam (also known as PSC) has an untouchable indie-rap resume, having put in an immense amount of work over the past two decades. Time 2 Get Lucky is his fifth solo album; it was primarily produced by Mike Gao, with additional contributions from Exile and Budo. Though he's been around forever, his style remains the same (which is a good thing). His work has a charismatic and witty everyman vibe set to beats that are nontraditional but still plenty funky. Don't miss the freaky, synth-driven "Gots Ta Know," the warped and shapeshifting "Genius," and the overseas adventure "Tokyo Tale." Stellar guest appearances come courtesy of Del the Funky Homosapien and Scarab ("Prolly Get Slapped"), The Grouch ("Change This"), Lana Shea ("Bang Bang"), and Sleepy Will ("Move On").
