Details
[Edit]Lulu Santos is a pop artist, immersed in the dance music universe. Retaking the successful partnership with Liminha (partnership which produced the hits "Adivinha o quê," "Um certo alguém" e "Como uma onda" in O ritmo do momento, 1983), he throws new songs following predictable hit formulas in "Nau dos Insensatos," "Fogo de Palha," "Aquilo" and "Mala & Cia." Firing in all directions, he attacks the retro-samba "Brasil legal," strongly paraphrasing Ary Barroso's "A baixa do sapateiro" under surf guitars. His partner Nelson Motta's lyrics continue dealing with the restricted universe of a golden adolescent in a Carioca beach, looking for the next Saturday night ("Sábado à noite").
