[Edit]M.L. Vasanthakumari is a gifted vocalist. Seeing to the future, Sudha Ragunathan, who learned from her, is widely tipped to be the next great Carnatic female vocalist. This recording draws on at least two sessions. No detailed information is provided although vocal support on this recording is provided by R. Charumathi.
