[Edit]Best of 2005 is a collection of best tracks (one of many) of legendary Paris-based Spanish-language ethnic punk band Mano Negra. Led by singer and guitarist Manu Chao and his brother, trumpeter Tony Chao, Mano Negra emerged from the multi-national melting pot of the Parisian streets, and offered a completely new and refreshing take on punk, which clashed together not only mere musical styles but cultural and ethnic attitudes as well. They were active throughout '80s and '90s, and this double-disc release collects their best-known songs.
