[Edit]At this point, Jonas Munk can be considered the Jimmy Buffett — or the George Winston — of post-rock/indie electronic. From a quick glance at the sleeves of his albums and a scan of the track titles on them, anyone who has heard him once will discover that there are only minor variations on the same theme. (In short: gauzy processed guitar wash for evenings spent on tropical shorelines.) Bookended by two shorter tracks, Bajamar's heart consists of three tracks that each last over ten minutes. It's much more airy compared to 2004's Golden Sun (a collaboration with Syntaks), and it's relatively subdued when compared to 2005's Azure Vista, which results in one of the most tranquil listens in his catalog. Little clings to the memory after a couple plays, but the album's more than pleasant enough for daydreaming and nodding off blissfully.
