Details
[Edit]When Marcos Vidal began his ministry as a worship leader for his father's church in Salem, Spain, his sights were not set on international renown. However, thanks to the combination of his inspired writing and expert musicianship, his gifts were destined to be appreciated by a larger audience than one church could hold. With both a conservatory background and extensive theological education, Vidal has become one of the most important worship leaders/songwriters serving Spanish-speaking Christian bodies. Alabanza y Adoracion (En Vivo Desde Espana) brings together a chorus of 160 voices and some of the world's finest musicians, including Luis Conte, Abraham Laboriel, Paul Jackson, Jr. and Chester Thompson with an audience of over 2000 to raise up some of Vidal's most popular selections. Showcasing Vidal's Latin American influences are such tracks as the Latin rock "Oh Señor" and the churning songo "Aclamad el Senor." Reflective selections like "Cuanto Te Amo" and "Lléname Senor" reveal Vidal to be a sensitive, intuitive pianist and vocalist. With warm, vibrant production, listeners from all over the world are made to feel as though they were present for that spirit-filled evening in 2000. ~ Evan C. Gutierrez, Rovi
