[Edit]After Pantanal Suíte Sinfônica, Marcus Viana's solo career started to grow, resulting in several invitations to compose soundtracks. This CD is a gathering of his main successes composing for TV series and soap operas such as Pantanal, O Clone, Ana Raio e Zé Trovão, O Canto das Sereias, Xica da Silva, Serras Azuis, A Idade da Loba, Chiquinha Gonzaga, Aquarela do Brasil, and Terra Nostra. All of these tracks are symphonic themes with Viana's unmistakable style that unites symphonic and world music, epics and romanticism, and classical with popular music. All tracks were recorded by the artist and digitally remastered. The track "Para Todo o Sempre" was taken from the Aquarela do Brasil soundtrack, and its actual name is "Por Toda a Vida (Tema de Isa)." This CD also includes an unreleased track called "A Miragem II" (featuring the same tune as "A Miragem" with different lyrics), which makes this work something that's indispensable for collectors.
