Details
[Edit]This is the third work in a series that presents Viana's creation for ballet, theatre, movies, video, and TV. The CD brings a retrospect of old works, including parts from the Tribana ballet (1982), the documentary Maxacali (1995), the instrumental soundtrack for the TV series Xica da Silva (1996, based on the Baroque music of the state of Minas Gerais (Brazil) in the 18th century), and the love theme from the soap opera Serras Azuis (1998). Besides uniting themes composed by Marcus Viana since 1982, this CD introduces the Transfônica Orkestra, an electro-acoustic band devoted to the fusion of symphonic music with folklore roots.
