Details
[Edit]This CD features solid playing from a Massachusetts-based trio comprised of pianist Mark Kross, bassist Mark Pucci, and drummer Ed Sorrentino. The music swings and is mostly bop-based, including such songs as "Old Devil Moon," "Tin Tin Deo," Thelonious Monk's "Evidence," and Vince Guaraldi's "It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown," plus three Kross originals. Veteran trumpeter/flugelhornist Herb Pomeroy is an asset on a few selections during this obscure but worthwhile release from the tiny T Bone label.
