[Edit]TH-Rodven's Platino series continues with Marvin Santiago and the issue of a few underpromoted but very neat cuts (with good sound). Santiago gives it his all in tunes like C. Curet Alonso's zesty "Cinco Hijos" and a kooky, salsa-cum-rap number called "Como un Cañón" (also by Alonso).The oddity of Marvin Santiago's catalog is that it needs to be issued in its entirety. However, TH-Rodven keeps issuing scant, flimsy packages with no information and poor packaging; in the meantime, this collection will be more than adequate until the long-expected TH catalog is re-released in better condition.
