[Edit]Fankhauser's first solo outing, originally titled Merrell Fankhauser and released in 1976, remains his best post-Mu work: very light and serene folk-rock that owes little to trends of its era, predominantly acoustic in feel, and often featuring Mary Lee on violin and harmony vocals. The 1988 reissue is enhanced by four previously unreleased Mu tracks, dating from 1974.
