[Edit]With their song "Incidental," the Richmond, VA, three-piece of Metropolitan provide a bouncy, uplifting track of power pop that's accompanied by a nickel-budget production. Metropolitan's track resembles J-Church without the sentimental lyrics and polished punk influence. Then there's Calibos, who contribute something that sounds like a melodic Sonic Youth: noisy and hypnotic, but for the most part, forgettable.
