[Edit]With his second album, Vendetta, Mic Geronimo proves that his hard-hitting debut was no fluke. Geronimo may flirt a little too heavily with the crossover — Puff Daddy's production on "Nothin' Move But the Money" is a little too smooth, and the blatant materialism doesn't suit him well — but the fact of the matter is, even when he tries his hand at the pop game, Geronimo has more lyrical skills than many of his peers. Musically, he needs to toughen up a little and find his own sensibility, but there's no denying that his rhyming is strong and that the R&B-flavored productions are appealing, and that all makes the album a Vendetta worth pursuing.
