Jazzis is a unique combination of the traditional jazz, bebop, cool jazz, and fusion with sounds of electronic music as acid jazz, drum'n'bass, and trance. With the participation of Marcio Montarroyos (on the tracks "Brooklin Beat" and "Café Noir"), Sylvio Mazzuca, and Edson X, Jazzis creates tracks where the piano reigns supremely. There is also a bonus track, a drum'n'bass remix of the track "Zonazul," produced by Cosmosamatics (aka Mad Zoo), a well-known electronic music producer. Michel Freidenson also played with Hermeto Pascoal, Djavan, Ivan Lins, Tim Maia, Jane Duboc, and others. With works released in Brazil, the U.S., and Europe, Jazzis has created a rare improvisational work, merging Brazilian elements in its interpretations. On this CD, he combines the main characteristics of jazz improvising, spontaneous creations of high emotional content, enhanced by intelligent beats rich in detail, enriching the final result of the work, a landmark of the style in Brazil.
