These are early Ian Levine tracks, when he was fresh, and not trying to imitate Motown's producers. This collaboration with Miquel Brown rates with his best works. Brown, a great pop/soul singer, hasn't received one iota of the acclaimed she deserves. Her voice is arresting with natural urgency. "Beeline" a nice slab of pop/disco will delight even the disco hater. She shows a penchant for mid tempo floaters on the infectious "Sunny Day." The entrancing intro on "He's A Saint, He's A Sinner" hooks you before Brown sings one word. Miquel's arresting voice shines on "Maybe He Forgot" a throwback ballad, with doo-wop shadings that's simply delicious. The title track and "So Many Men, So Many Time" represents two of Miquel's biggest hits, though neither did much internationally. A pat on the back to Levine and Fiachra Trent the writers and producers of these six winners. Represents Brown's first LP, originally released in 1975 on TSR Records.
