[Edit]Moacyr Luz is one of those composers with enormous success who is unknown to the audiences. On this, his first solo CD, are his successful compositions "Jogo Rasteiro" (with Nei Lopes), "Encontros Cariocas" (with Aldir Blanc), "Samba de Fato" (with Paulo César Pinheiro), and several others, mostly with Aldir Blanc. The intense urban poetry of the chronicler of the urban hills of Rio is competently backed by creative melodies in an album where artistic sincerity is the raw material.
