Details
[Edit]Molotov's second proper album for the American market, Apocalypshit continues the bent on groove-laden hardcore with a bent for dark humor and social commentary. The sonic experimentalism from their first, Donde Jugaran Las Niñas?, is stated even more directly here, thanks in part to the presence of Beastie Boys associate Mario Caldato, Jr. on production, recording, and mixing. The grooves are much better than average, and the wildman Spanish vocals of Tito Fuentes give the album an added edge. Aside from Rage Against the Machine and a few others, there's so little music in this style worth its salt, making Apocalypshit an excellent adventure through post-grunge metal.
