[Edit]Mister Mike, the leader of South Circle, turns in a thoroughly impressive solo debut with Wicked Wayz. Highlighted by the soul-inflected hip-hop ballad "Where Ya Love At," Wicked Wayz alternates between laid-back funk grooves and crooning ballads. The album suffers from uneven material — it's difficult to listen to in one sitting without getting distracted — but the best moments are fine, particularly if you're not looking for anything other than a good time.
