[Edit]Otherside, the second production long-player from the Finnish duo, balances stark, darkside electro straight out of the Detroit/Dutch school with a more understated, nocturnal brand of electronic music more in keeping with Plaid and Metamatics. The opener, "I Hear You," is a beautiful slice of down-tempo electronica, but the very next track ("Esc") is deep, squelchy, and full of the guttural vocals expected from any act with artistic ties to Drexciya or I-F.
