[Edit]Grindcore is certainly alive and well in the early 21st century, as evidenced by such releases as the 2009 offering by Mumakil, Behold the Failure. Undoubtedly, few records of the year will be as fierce and explosive as this little number, as it easily reaches number ten on the cacophony meter. As with most respectable grind releases, the Mumakil chaps have a limited attention span, so they cram as many songs as possible onto the CD — resulting in 27 tracks total. Individual standouts? Good luck trying to decipher which song is which, as they all sound the bloody same!
