Details
[Edit]It's been 15 years since N.O.R.E. (then known as Noreaga) teamed up with Capone for CNN's classic debut, The War Report. Since then, he's seen crossover success with singles like "Grimey" and "Nothin'," won over the reggaeton crowd with "Oye Mi Canto," and kept hardcore fans satiated with a steady stream of solo albums and mixtapes. For Crack on Steroids, he reconnects with DJ Green Lantern (who hosted his Cocaine on Steroids five years earlier) for another batch of uncompromising Lefrak rap anthems. It's supported by a bevy of guest features, including RZA, Bumpy Knuckles, Raekwon, Styles P, Wale, Game, Busta Rhymes, M-1, Action Bronson, Wacka Flocka, will.i.am, Cassie, and Amanda Diva. Most of the producers are of the unknown variety, with two notable exceptions being NYC icons DJ Premier and Just Blaze. N.O.R.E.'s signature blend of thugged-out criminology and goofy humor is in full effect throughout, and several songs ("Google That," "Kenny Powers," "Smoke Hookah") have "street anthem" written all over them. Older fans will be psyched to hear Imam Thug and Capone back in the mix.
