[Edit]Like the other titles in the Nature's Balance series from System Special Markets, Forest Rays has less of a connection to the forest and nature than its accompanying text and photography would have you believe. Birds flit in the backgrounds of "Understory," and in "Broadleaf" electronics emulate the echo of animals' cries resounding through the forest. But for the most party, Forest Rays is a pretty straightforward collection of ambient music, perfectly relaxing in its own way but having little to do with the forest or even nature.
