Details
[Edit]98° were the also-rans of the teen pop mania at the turn of the millennium — although they had hits, with three singles making it into the Top Ten — and their lead singer, Nick Lachey, was perhaps best known as the husband of Jessica Simpson (something that their MTV reality series Newlyweds was unlikely to change). Lachey debuted as a solo artist with SoulO, and preferred to stick with the sound of 98° rather than stretch himself. Lachey has a pleasant enough voice and does a little better on sprightly pop tunes like "Could You Love" than he does on ballads. Overall, the record is an apt companion to Simpson's In This Skin.
