[Edit]Angels Flying is the follow-up to Nikkos' first album, 2000's Angels Dreaming. Once again, Nikkos, armed with his flute, presents another group of songs that are meant to help listeners find their own angels. The 11 songs found here are all very light and airy, with only keyboards and guitars surrounding the fluid flute playing. Nikkos has a talent for composition, and his exposure to Asian music has given him a wider pallet to explore his talents with. The titles have very little to do with the actual songs found here; in fact, songs like "Green Christmas" and "Free Moon" are quite similar despite what would seem like a difference in mood. But overall this is a quality recording that is second in a projected seven album series of this same kind of mood music. New age fans will probably enjoy this very much, but those not enamored with the genre may want to avoid.
