Details
[Edit]Twenty years after The Old 97's independently released their debut album, Hitchhike to Rhome, band member and coproducer Ken Bethea pulled out the original tapes and discovered eight tracks that didn't make it to the album. Coupling these with the band’s first four-song demo cassette, the expanded edition was complete. As an added bonus, longtime Old 97’s engineer Rip Rowan remixed the album from the original multi-track tapes. The resulting full-bodied sound brings out the best in a band that began their career as one of the purest and most essential country-rock groups, one that never needed an "alt" before their "country."
