Details
[Edit]For an independent band, One Less Reason sure sound like a mainstream act, with an emphasis on hard rock songs and moody, atmospheric ballads that recall the work of Nickelback, Saving Abel, and Shinedown. Faces and Four Letter Words is the band's fourth album in six years, and it presents a lean, muscular version of the sound these Tennessee natives have been honing since their brief stint with Universal Records. The rock songs are fairly standard, but the minor-key ballads — where the guys sketch late-night landscapes with pianos, acoustic guitars, and electronics — are where One Less Reason differentiate themselves from the hard rock pack.
