[Edit]American noise rock band Oxbow placed two tracks on this split EP released by the Italian experimental rock label Wallace. If the two songs are not their best, and mark a certain turn in the musical line of the band, they are far beyond average compositions, whatever people might say about them. More interesting than this debate is the opportunity that Oxbow Meets White Tornado provides to discover the Italian band White Tornado, who at the time had already released a split single with Colossamite. With three new songs, they offer up slow heavy noise rock with vocals and (probably too much) muffling noise effects. A nice noise EP, although perhaps surprisingly too conventional for a label as experimental as Wallace Records.
