A Peanuts & Corn supergroup of sorts, Park-Like Setting brings together mcenroe, DJ Hunnicutt, and John Smith for a 22-track distance education course, plus extracurricular activities. As with other projects from the label, mcenroe handles all the production and shares MC-ing duties with Smith. The members have proved in past projects that they're not particularly interested in hip-hop's more traditional subject matter, instead covering consumerism, high-school politics, and the inner workings of the music industry. The earnestness of some of the subject material is offset by the sense of humor of the participants — the samples are well-chosen and often funny, and none of the members can resist digs at themselves when things start to get too heavy (funniest of all is Hunnicutt's lecture to the kids about how to be a good promoter, but guest Pip Skid's answering machine messages come close).
