[Edit]One of the most influential and legendary producers in the history of hip-hop, Pete Rock has been cooking up beats since the '80s, paying dues with Marley Marl and Heavy D before hooking up with CL Smooth and dropping some of the best Golden Era joints ever recorded. Smif N Wessun dropped their classic debut Dah Shinin' back in '94, and have been steadily touring, making new records, and repping the Boot Camp Clik ever since. The announcement of a collabo album caused many aging B-boy jaws to drop and it’s safe to say, that after over twenty years deep in the game, Pete's beats are still banging. Tek and Steele continue to do damage on the microphone, assisted by homies like Buckshot ("Night Time"), Sean P and Styles P ("That's Hard"), Raekwon ("Prevail"), and PR femme fatale Hurricane G on the furious anthem "Do It," as well as Rock, Bun B, Top Dog, Freeway, Memphis Bleek, and Black Rob.
