[Edit]On his fifth album, Das Ende der Beschwerde, indie pop singer PeterLicht moves away from the piano-driven introspection of his previous album, Melancholie und Gesellschaft, and instills his melodic songs with a fuller, rock- and post-punk-inspired sound instead. Several tracks were recorded live in the studio with a full band (including "Fluchtstück" and "Sag Mir, Wie ich Beginnen Soll"), and throughout the record, PeterLicht presents his intellectual and critical lyrics in an often ironic, lightweight manner.
