Tibetan Horn is a haunting collection. Synthesizer, flute, Tibetan horn, chimes and a collection of nature sounds produce melancholic, soulful music. Every note, even the slightest tonal nuance, seems to breathe new meaning into each piece. Some pieces are austere in their construction, depicting mountain crags; others are richly composed like a lush valley. The common thread, the Tibetan Horn, is played by Steven Cragg. Cragg and co-composer and performer Phil Thornton have captured the mood of a quiet, spiritual land.
