[Edit]Prozak (a.k.a. The Hitchcock of Hip-Hop) hit the scene in 2001 with his debut EP, Aftabirth, repping for his Michigan hometown of Saginaw. Down with both Project: Deadman and Bedlam, he's on the same type of extremely lunatic, slasher flick–inspired tip as Insane Clown Posse, Brotha Lynch Hung, and Esham. In 2008 he linked up with Strange Music for his solo follow-up, Tales from the Sick, after several collaborations with label honcho/indie-rap mogul Tech N9ne. His second release of 2012 (after Paranormal), Nocturnal continues his mad-at-the-world, there-will-be-blood steez, with chunky beats, sinister bass meandering, ominous bells, and minor-key synths supporting his life-on-the-fringes wordplay. If you're already down with the whole Strange movement, you'll love this for sure. Even if you aren't, you may be pleasantly surprised. Check out the surprisingly motivational "Giving Up," the seriously disturbing "Vigilante" (with Twiztid), and the rambunctious banger "Knuckle Up."
