[Edit]Indie rock veterans Lindsay Baker, Chris Diken, and Robbie Guertin join forces for their third full-length album as Radical Dads, 2015's Universal Coolers. Combining wiry guitars, thick but straightforward basslines, and muscular drumming, Universal Coolers finds Radical Dads sounding livelier and more powerful than on their previous efforts, while still delivering tunes that recall the glory days of '80s and '90s indie rock, melodic but angular and sounding both smart and expressive.
