[Edit]Nashville-based session guitarist Randy Dorman has logged over 20 years of experience playing behind Kenny Rogers. On this all-instrumental outing, he's joined by keyboardist Warren Hartman, bassist Chuck Jacobs, and drummer Lynn Hammann. Pat Bergeson guests on harmonica on the penultimate track, a rendition of the Kenny Rogers song "You Looked So Beautiful," while Dorman goes it alone on both guitar and bass on the closing "Reflections." While Dorman's guitar work (almost entirely acoustic) is crisp and well-recorded, most tracks have the tint of background music. Emphasizing a light Latin pop feel with occasional touches of country and jazz, the record seldom rises above the level of fluff.
