[Edit]Available on CD for the first time, this oft-bootlegged 1961 performance by Ravi Shankar at UCLA's Royce Hall features some inspired improvisation from the sitar master. The 1999 reissue is remastered from the original tapes and is presented with the original liner notes plus additional thoughts from Shankar himself. Tracks include "Madhuvanti" and "Dhun in Mishra Mand."
