Formerly the Moments, their unique style of both singing and rapping made RGB different from other R&B groups vying for chart space. Having two dynamic leads like Harry Ray and Billy Brown didn't hurt their chances. When you tired of Ray's feather-light tenor, Brown would change the pace with his energetic, gospel-laden leads. Bass/baritone Al Goodman's lower register blends brilliantly with the two tenors. Essential for R&B and doo-wop fanatics. This best-of is the ultimate make-out album — play it for that special lady.
