Not traditional music at all, these solo versions of tangos, valses and other dances come from a master of the bandoneon accordion. Rivero is a virtuoso of his instrument, with roots in both the conservator, and on one level this music is a thoughtfully lyrical personal take on nuevo tango. As such it's a must-have for accordion and art-tango enthusiasts alike. The notes are staggeringly detailed, containing more detail on the bandoneon's nature and history than you might think existed. ~ John Storm Roberts, Original Music, Rovi
