[Edit]This was Ray's first album with Alegre and remains of his most important; at this time, boogaloo was a number one dancing fad, and that enabled this pianist/arranger to unleash his creative imagination in order to lure both English-speaking and Spanish audiences. "Sweedish Schnapps" is Ray at his coolest, and "Lookie, Lookie" matches it; however, pieces like "Suite Noro Morales" (Morales' light touch was instrumental in Ray's piano stylings) is splendid.
