[Edit]Richard H. Kirk's lone contribution to the solid catalog of Ash International is another excellent work, a single hour-long track of cinematic, sampladelic, beat-laden paranoia. Though it progresses only slightly, Agents With False Memories displays the fine production sense of Kirk. He simply cycles through plunderphonic vocal samples of intelligence reports, tribal ceremonies, and news documentaries. While tough, distorted trip-hop serves as bedrock, echoing in the background are either acid hysteria squelches or bubbling Orb-style dub effects. Harking back to the fourth world of Brian Eno, David Byrne, and Jon Hassell, Agents With False Memories is an excellent invisible soundtrack.
