[Edit]All but one song — "(So Long) Since I Felt This Way" — from the old ten-track Curb Records Robert John collection is missing from this 12-track Capitol Records CD, and the sound here is state-of-the-art 24-bit digital audio. What's more, Capitol doesn't waste time with the dance mix of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." The annotation is nicely thorough as well, and this is clearly the CD of choice for anyone wanting an overview of the artist's work, which has never sounded quite this good or impressive. This is the kind of compilation that will not only satisfy existing fans, but should help create a few new ones as well.
