Once again, Maxwell turns out a killer harp extravaganza in the guise of a thematic easy listening record. Considering the use of the harp in film to suggest changes in mood or the appearance of cherubs and sunshine and so forth, the concept really is not so bad.

The two originals are "Rosebud" and "Pumpkin Yellow." The best thing about this album probably is the "Tequila"-esque mambo riff in Maxwell's arrangement of Harry Owen's "September in the Rain." It is inspired.
