[Edit]Although the liner notes claim he had already bested Harpo Marx as the top, popular harpist, this record was the great introduction to Robert Maxwell. The two originals making their debut here, "Ebb Tide" and "Shangri-La," are Maxwell's most famous compositions. And "Limehouse Blues," later a highlight of the stereo showcase Spectacular Harps, and "Chinatown, My Chinatown" are fantastic examples of Maxwell's penchant for overdubbing.
