[Edit]Five originals do not help to bring Zing! Went the Strings of My Harp above average, which for Robert Maxwell is still very good. This is an even record, well-rounded and in need of a few more sharp edges. The final track, "The Carioca," is one of those spectacular arrangements of a standard one expects of Maxwell. (The tune also is covered on the Decca recording Let's Get Away From It All.)
