[Edit]Awesome recording showcases the band as they reach full musical maturity. Arrangers Louis García, Julio "Gunda" Merced, and Papo Lucca continue to define the overall sound of the band, giving an unparalleled level of elegance. Tunes like "Regaño al Corazón," "Guaguancó del Adiós," and "Lamento de Concepción" are exceptional. However, the icing on the cake is "El Progreso," masterfully arranged in elegant simplicity by Elías Lopés, Roena's longtime associate and Apollo Sound co-founder.
