[Edit]There's little doubt that these glockenspiel and vibraphone-laced renditions of Bob Marley songs are soothing, sounding as if Marley's songbook were being played by a giant music box with just the slightest trace of Jamaican rhythm left intact. It's disconcerting to hear street anthems like "Get Up, Stand Up," outlaw sagas like "I Shot the Sheriff," and cultural history like "Buffalo Soldier" reconfigured as little wind-chime sonatas, but hey, they're sure pretty in these arrangements and one could easily fall into dreamland (now that's a Wailers song that should have been on this collection — Bunny Wailer's "Dreamland") while listening to these decidedly non-rasta vibrations.
